Fun and Games from Friday evening 19/4 – Sunday 21/4.
A long weekend in Vietnam ….. all forms of transport booked solid and we still managed to get half the core Saigon Hash contingent as well as visitors from other parts.
Friday afternoon registration at Patricks Wine Bar was followed by a Pub Crawl around our sponsors hang outs…..that’s Patricks Wine Bar, Booze Cruise Bar & Grill and the Waterhole. It finished back at Patricks with drunken hashers gyrating around the dance floor in practice for the following day on the hills.
Anyone fancy a boat trip on Nha Trang Bay including food, drink, swimming and the world’s best company???? Well it was available as part of our Run No. 1….as long as you were prepared to hike up and down the local hills for multiple kms on tracks that only goats could respect. The views were stunning, the foliage was jungle, the drink stop didn’t exist… but one way or the other, every hasher eventually turned up at the Port and boarded the boat.
Superb Hash entertainment on the boat was provided by many including:
- JACK-OFF as our impromptu choir-master
- Vicki performing on the catwalk as Pretty Aloette (spelling way off)
- HONOUR BACK and Vicki playing the role of boat figureheads…. with some assistance from LINER and FLATULANCE
- Anna and other Harriers and Harriettes displaying advanced dancing techniques on the floating drink bar
- BOOTY CALL diving off the boat and accompanying us alongside in the water for a few kms of the trip
- FLATULANCE as our talented and humorous photographer
- GRAND MISTRESS for her detailed eye and descriptive talent regarding misdemeanors
- LOST SOLE keeping the Frenchies informed of what was going on
- our GMS, DINGO and G2tLD for being the MCs on the boat and despite their best efforts… not Phucking Up!!
- PENCIL DICK for being the first in the water and showing everyone the meaning of cool ….laying back in the ocean with a beer and live entertainment all around him.
The circle was held on the boat with extreme icing and DOWN DOWNS. So many new songs… how will we remember them. I know!!!! we will keep inviting our Saigon mates to party with us.
Fast forward past Saturday night……. it consisted of a BBQ dinner at Patricks, more dancing at Patrick’s and a sponsor pub crawl. It was a bit of a blur with some hashers dancing away the early hours of Sunday at the Sailing Club.
